Adam Ebbin’s candidacy in the Democratic Primary for Senate District 30 has been endorsed by the Professional Firefighters and Paramedics Associations from Arlington and Fairfax County, his campaign announced today.

“Every day, firefighters and paramedics put their safety on the line to save lives and protect our communities. I’m proud of my record of standing up for our local firefighters and paramedics as a member of the General Assembly, and honored to have their support,” said Adam Ebbin.

These associations join Northern Virginia State Delegates including Mark Sickles, Bob Brink, Vivian Watts, Patrick Hope and Scott Surovell, Virginia Senators John Edwards and Chap Petersen, and numerous local elected officials in endorsing Ebbin’s candidacy for the Senate seat which extends from south Arlington to Mt. Vernon and Lee Districts in Fairfax County.

“Our association recognizes that Adam Ebbin is a leader we can count on in Richmond. Northern Virginians can trust Adam Ebbin to be their voice in the Senate,” said Sean O’Connell, president of the Arlington Professional Firefighters and Paramedics Association. 

“In the House, Adam Ebbin stood with us in the fight to restore state funding for benefits for families of firefighters killed in the line of duty. When we’ve needed an advocate in the General Assembly, Adam has been there for us,” said John Niemiec, president of the Fairfax County Professional Firefighters and Paramedics Association.
