Adam Ebbin, member of the House of Delegates, and Democratic nominee for the 30th State Senate District, today released the following statement regarding the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals’ dismissal of Ken Cuccinelli’s suit against the Affordable Care Act:

“I applaud the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals’ decision to dismiss. Ken Cuccinelli has wasted 18 months and valuable state resources on his politically-motivated lawsuit against health care reform. Now is the time for our Attorney General to go back to protecting Virginians from consumer fraud and Internet crimes, and to stop attempting to undermine laws that improve access to healthcare. We need him to stay focused on efforts that will make Virginia families safer, not sicker.”
