I am honored to receive such strong support from the voters of Alexandria, Arlington and Fairfax. I look forward to taking the faith you’ve shown in me time and again and turn it into hard work and progress on behalf of the values we all share. 

With what may be an evenly divided Senate taking office in January, your commitment to our political process is now more important than ever. Our Democratic Senators are going to need your support, your encouragement and your engagement as we stand strong against an energized Republican agenda.
